Cream City Soundcheck Student Filmmaker Akila Ingvoldstad

Meet Akila Ingvoldstad, a Milwaukee native and senior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  She was born into an art inspired family, with both parents as painters. It wasn’t long until she was learning how to drag a bow across the strings of a violin, following the artistic nature of her family.  She attended the Milwaukee High School of the Arts and continues her education at UWM studying film.  She aspires to master the creative world through animations and documentaries.
